Provenance and history |
Unknown provenance. The original owner or commissioner of the book might have been a certain Gäbrä Mikaʾel: his name is written on the supplication formula on the incipit page of the text (f. 2ra). It is unknown when the manuscript came to Italy. It belonged to Mr De Carlo; after his death the manuscript was donated to the abbey library by his wife, Mrs O. Zanini, on 14 September 2010. |
